Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Vermilion Hue is an opaque bright orange red color. It is mixed with linseed oil and is a permanent color with very good lightfastness. The genuine pigment was made from toxic mercuric sulphide and was known to the ancient Greeks and Chinese.
