Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Dioxazine Blue is a transparent rich violet with a beautiful blue violet undertone that bridges a gap between Dioxazine Purple and French Ultramarine. It is mixed with linseed oil and is a permanent color with excellent lightfastness. This pigment sits well within the ochres and umbers although it is not an actual earth color.
