Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Yellow Ochre is an opaque, warm yellow pigment. It is mixed with linseed oil and is an extremely permanent color with excellent lightfastness. Originally made from natural iron oxides found in earth, it is one of the oldest pigments used by mankind. A synthetic version became available in the 1920s.
Made from high-quality pigments, Winton Oil Colours are durable, lightfast and permanent. With Winton's uniform consistency, it is exceptional for general use and ideal for working in large volume at the highest level. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes.
