Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Lamp Black is an opaque black with a bluish tint, producing a variety of cool blue greys. It is mixed with linseed oil and is an extremely permanent color with excellent lightfastness. Lamp Black is one of the oldest pigments. It is made of pure carbon, originally from the residual soot of burnt oil lamps.
Made from high-quality pigments, Winton Oil Colours are durable, lightfast and permanent. With Winton's uniform consistency, it is exceptional for general use and ideal for working in large volume at the highest level. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes.
