Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Dioxazine Purple is a transparent vivid mid-shade purple pigment. It is mixed with a linseed oil and is a permanent color with excellent lightfastness. When undiluted, it can be used as a deep black. It is made from a transparent coal tar pigment and was introduced into the Winsor & Newton range in the 1960s.
Made from high-quality pigments, Winton Oil Colours are durable, lightfast and permanent. With Winton's uniform consistency, it is exceptional for general use and ideal for working in large volume at the highest level. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes.
