Winsor & Newton Calligraphy Ink Sepia is a permanent, black brown color. Originally made in the 18th c. from the ink sacks of cuttlefish.
Winsor & Newton Calligraphy inks are made from high quality pigments in acrylic. All the inks have been formulated with carefully chosen pigments to ensure maximum brilliance of color and permanency. Single pigments have been used wherever possible to make clean color mixtures.
Please note that these inks are not water-proof, which means they can be reactivated with water and work best when used with a brush or a dip pen.
