Winsor & Newton Water Mixable Matte Varnish is a UV resistant matte finish treatment that maintains oil paintings for longer. Sealing the microscopic pores on oil paint film, the varnish provides resistance to dirt and grease while creating a matted surface. Can be removed with Water Mixable Varnish Remover for the purpose of re-varnishing.
Painting must be completely dry (6-12 months). Use only as a final varnish. Shake well before use.
Tip: water mixable oil varnishes are also suitable for final treatment of conventional oil paintings.
