During this class with Joe A Oakes learn how to paint a vibrant acrylic landscape with step by step instruction. This session will focus on techniques to paint mountains, similar to the paintings pictured above. Learn about composition, how to go from a photo to painting, layering with acrylic, color mixing and choice, how to paint different textures and more.
Materials Provided: Holbein Acrylic Paint (Cadmium Yellow Deep, Cadmium Orange, Compose Violet, Luminous Rose, Amethyst, Shadow Green, Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White), and occasionally M. Graham Payne's Grey or Terra Rosa, Liquitex Acrylic Paint (Cobalt Teal), 12x16 Canvas, Bristle Paint Brushes (Round #4, Filbert #6 and Flat #8), Palette Knife, Rag or Paper Towel & Water.
Please note this in person class is limited to 15 students. Students under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
