Learn to create a vibrant, acrylic, landscape painting with step by step instruction. Composition and color are key to a successful painting, so in addition to a finished painting you will create several thumbnail sketches and color studies. From photo reference to finished painting, you will explore color mixing, layering, textures and more. The focus of this workshop will be a painting similar to the one shown.
Materials Provided: Holbein Acrylic Paint (Cadmium Yellow Deep, Cadmium Orange, Compose Violet, Luminous Rose, Amethyst, Shadow Green, Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White), and occasionally M. Graham Payne's Grey or Terra Rosa, Liquitex Acrylic Paint (Cobalt Teal), 12x16 Canvas, Bristle Paint Brushes (Round #4, Filbert #6 and Flat #8), Palette Knife, Rag or Paper Towel & Water.
Please note this class is limited to 15 students. Students under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
