During this class with Joe A Oakes learn how to paint a vibrant acrylic landscape with step by step instruction from Joe. Learn about composition, how to go from a photo to a painting, layering with acrylic, color mixing and choice, how to paint different textures and more. This is a hybrid class, Joe will be teaching online and in-person at the same time. Please note you will be painting in a style and color palette similar to the above image, but it will not be the exact image
Materials Suggested: Holbein Acrylic (cadmium yellow deep, cadmium orange, compose violet, luminous rose, amethyst, shadow green, titanium white, and occasionally paynes grey), Liquitex Acrylic (cobalt teal), 12x12 canvas, Bristle Brushes in Round #4, Filbert #6 and Flat #8, palette knife, rag or paper towel, water.
Please note this online class will be taught simultaneously with the in person class. It is limited to 10 students. Attendees will receive the zoom link and any references the week of the class.
