Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour Cerulean Blue is a semi-opaque, bright blue pigment with green undertones. It is an extremely permanent with excellent lightfastness and granulation capabilities. Cerulean Blue was developed in 1805 and entered the English market in the 1860s. Its name derives from the Latin Caeruleum meaning sky-blue pigment.
