Join Anne Kupillas in a hands on watercolor class. Paint a foxglove floral, while learning watercolor process. Using negative painting and layering/glazing techniques, Anne will show you how to create drama in your florals. Perfect for beginner and intermediate watercolor painters.
Required Materials: Artist-quality Watercolor Paint in tubes, pans are not recommended. (Daniel Smith, QOR or Winsor Newton recommended) in the following colors:Opera Pink, Alizarin Crimson, Lemon Yellow (or Hansa Yellow), Sap Green, Ultramarine Blue (or Pthalo Blue), Burnt Umber (Burnt Sienna ok too); Cat's Tongue or Pointed Filbert/Oval Wash, size 8, Pointed Round or Long Pointed Round Size 6 or 8 (Princeton Aqua Elite recommended); 2 pieces of Arches Cold Pressed paper 9x12 or larger
Materials Provided: water cup, HB pencil, masking tape
Please note this in person class is limited to 18 students, students 18 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
