Online Class: Fresh and Loose Landscapes in Watercolor with Fealing Lin 11/5
Date: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5-7, 2021
Time: 10am-2pm PST
Instructor: Fealing Lin
The most important discipline of painting landscapes and cityscapes is knowing how to simplify your references either en plein air or from photos. What to leave out is more important than what to put in from your painting source. Learn how to apply proper values into foreground, middle ground and backgound is the key to depth of a successful painting. Using bigger brushes and limited strokes on your large paper would also be a goal of this workshop.
During this online class Fealing will start with value studies, then cover not having a fear of white paper, next composition formats, and lastly always going back to the basics of the elements and principles of design. There will be lecture, demo, exercise, painting time and critique.
This class is limited to 22 people. If the class is sold out, you will no longer be able to sign up. If you wish to be added to the waitlist please email firstname.lastname@example.org
