Join me on beautiful Balboa Island for a small-group plein air workshop. There is so much to paint at this lively and colorful location including boats, charming architecture, beach scenery and more. Morning demonstration in Cobra water miscable oil, showing how to design, draw and paint the scene. I'll emphasize design using division of space, lines, the importance of values, color mixing and edgework. The afternoon will be spent painting with one on one assistance from Kristen Olson Stone. This class is perfect for beginners through advanced artists. Receive a free sample of Cobra paint when you attend.

Acrylic
Paint: Titanium white, Cadmium lemon, Cadmium yellow medium, Cadmium red light or Pyrole red, Permanent red violet or Quinacridone rose, Madder lake deep, Ultramarine blue, Permanent green deep or Turquoise
Other: Canvas panel (preferable to stretched canvas), Assorted palette knives and brushes, Plein air easel
Oil (water miscable or traditional oil)
