In this workshop, participants will learn how to paint with gouache focusing on landscapes. Gouache is a fantastic medium for painting quickly, drying to a nice matte sheen and water soluble. We will be overviewing composition, tone over color, shapes in a landscape and how to apply these concepts to your painting. Participants can follow along with instructor or bring in their own photo reference or master-copy they wish to paint. You will paint multiple small ATC cards during this workshop.
All Materials Provided:Daniel Smith Gouache Paint (Titanium White, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue & Cadmium Red), Palette, Flat 1/2" Watercolor Brush, Round #4 Brush, Spray Bottle, Water Cup, Table Easel, Paper Towels, Illustration Board & Pencil
Please note this in person class is limited to 18 students. Students under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.
