No. 508 is a Cobalt Titanate compound made by 'cooking' at a high temperature to produce a soft, subtle blue-green hue valuable in influencing low hues and blacks. It possesses little tint power in higher keyed mixes, and it was described as 'the one color that captures the foliage of English landscape'.
