Vincent Pro means a 7/8" deep canvas that is stretched using Masterpiece's MuseumWrap back-stapled method with folded corners. Their proprietary stretching process uses pneumatically controlled machines that Masterpiece built to yield drum-tight tension. Up to 50% tighter than other methods.
Masterpiece's Raw #12 Cotton 11.5oz Unprimed Canvas features a rugged heavy weight unprimed canvas. Take control of your art, prepare your own ground, or use bare canvas expanses as part of the art. Great for staining or pouring, resulting in a fluid and spontaneous convergence of the image and fabric. 100% Cotton 11.5oz. per square yard. Heavy weight, dense weaved with a textured surface.
Masterpiece's Vincent Pro 7/8" Deep Bar has 5/16" canvas clearance which is the space between the bar and the canvas. More clearance reduces the risk of the canvas touching the wood and creating unsightly lines during painting. Masterpiece's design provides the optimal clearance so as not to impact your painting, but still leaving enough wood to maximize the strength of the stretcher bar.
