Clean up is super easy, they are erasable with a damp cloth.
When applying to porous surfaces like chalkboards, try conditioning the board first by taking chalk and rubbing it all over the chalkboard. Then wipe it off with a chalkboard eraser or a damp cloth for markers. This will help fill in the pores.
Ink inside the markers are opaque, water-based, and pigmented.
