In this workshop, you will learn to paint more confidently and expressively in watercolor, with beginning and intermediate techniques. This workshop will cover color theory, color mixing, washing and glazing, wet on wet techniques and more. Part 2 builds on the fundamentals of part 1 and will provide you with plenty of instruction and practice.
Suggested Materials: Watercolor beginner set of tubes, Medium flat wash brush, Medium round OR Pointed filbert, Watercolor paper (6 pieces 8"x10", cold press 140lb Canson, Arches or Strathmore brand), Graphite pencil (HB or any number B, no H's), Permanent ink fineliner such as Micron or Etcher Lab, masking fluid, a piece of 9"x12" or 11"x14" backing board to tape down your paper.
Please note this live online class will be taught simultaneously with the in person class. It is limited to 10 students online. Students will be emailed reference materials if included and the zoom link the week of the class
