Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Gel Additive slows drying time by 40%, without affecting color opacity, so you can work it for longer. Maintains the same level of transparency and thickens and increases viscosity. Retains brush/knife marks. Ideal for dry and hot climates.
Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products. Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-dri to your color/medium with a knife. Mix in slowly and thoroughly, and use. If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer.
As this is an additive--with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your color/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage. Do not use with any non-acrylic media.
