Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products, Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Gel extends the open time of your color/medium by 40% so it is blendable and workable for longer as well as increases transparency. Extends your color further without affecting acrylic stability while giving softer edges and great color blends. Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Gel increases viscosity of soft body paints, giving a thicker consistency as well as increasing surface gloss, color depth and transparency. Maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality. Ideal for dry and hot climates.
Can be thinned by diluting with up to 25% water - distilled water will give best results. Mix as much as you like into acrylic color/medium to create the viscosity and transparency you want - the more you add, the more transparent your color will become. If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer. This is semi-opaque when wet, transparent when dry.
Do not vigorously over-brush as this can result in a foggy, hazy look when dry. Do not use with any non-acrylic compatible media.
