Mix this slow-drying medium with acrylic paint to make colors suitable for screen printing. Liquitex Silkscreen Medium makes color the right consistency for printing, allowing for thicker color to be used on the screen and extending volume without affecting the acrylic stability. This medium improves the flow for more detail while maintaining opacity, giving you longer print time with its slow drying process and maintaining paint adhesion, durability and archival quality.
Choose the color for the effect you want -- opaque colors will give maximum impact. Tint with an opaque white for an opaque but lighter result. This medium is fully compatible with all Liquitex products.
Depending on color thickness, mix 1-2 parts color to 1 part medium -- in warm conditions use a 1:1 ratio.
Note: Clean screen promptly after use. Do not leave to dry on the screen.
