Liquitex Bio-Based Heavy Acrylic Yellow Oxide is a soft warm brownish yellow single pigment color. A synthetic offering of one the oldest colors used by mankind and is extremely permanent. Unlike the natural pigment PY43, the synthetic PY42 gives a smoother dispersion and isn't prone to color variation like its natural counterpart.
This is high viscosity, pigment-rich professional acrylic color, made with an average 50% bio-based renewable ingredients. With a high concentration of lightfast artist-quality pigment and a satin finish, Bio-Based Heavy Acrylic gives you vibrant permanent color, with crisp brush strokes and bold knife marks.
Ideal for all painting techniques, impasto, texturizing with brush or palette knife and alla prima.
