Kuretake has utilized the expertise and techniques developed over 120 years of ink making to develop these Gansai colors which have six particularly deep sumi-like color tones. Apply water brush with color to activitae it. Gansai pans may exhibit cracking due to extreme dryness, however, it does now affect their quality. Occasionally, Gansai pan texture may lookc rough due to tiny air bubbls which can occur during production, which does not affect their quality.
