Textures, Taping, & Rendering 3-D. During this workshop create a board of techniques while you learn how to create texture using shields and stippling techniques, taping and masking for straight lines and graphics, and last how to shade shapes to create a 3-D effect. At the end of the workshop you will have time to create your own piece using the techniques learned during the class. All materials will be provided by Iwata. There will be a lunch break halfway through the class. Students should have prior airbrush experience to attend this class.
Ryan "Ryno" Templeton is an airbrush artist that started with t-shirts, moved to murals, then worked with the movie industry, and now works primarily in the automotive industry. Ryno painted some of the bikes in "Biker Boyz", and has 5 seasons of "Trick my Truck on CMT network. He also has filmed "Inside West Coast Customs". Along with all of this he has been passing along his knowledge, teaching classes to beginner and intermediate airbrush artists.
Materials Provided: Iwata Eclipse CS airbrush, air supply, paint, practice sheets, easel and more will be provided for the duration of the class.
Please note this in person class is limited to 18 students. Students 14-18 need to have a parent or adult present.
