During this class cover the basics of painting in watercolor. Anne will cover water balance, how to control paint flow, working wet on wet, damp and dry, brushes and brushtrokes, pigments and consistencies, materials, resists and tricks, top mistakes, how to avoid them and more! Perfect for beginners and those looking for a refresher on techniques.
Suggested Materials: Watercolor (tubes are best) Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow, plus any favorite colors. Medium round or filbert brush with natural bristles, along with any favorites you may have. Watercolor paper, 6 pieces 5"x7" or larger, 140lb Canson, Arches or Strathmore brand. Graphite pencil, any hardness (HB suggested)
Please note this in person class will be taught simultaneously with the online class. It is limited to 12 students in-person.
