During this class Anne will cover the basics of painting in watercolor. In this crash course for watercolor learn about water balance, how to control paint flow, working wet on wet, damp and dry, brushes and brushtrokes, pigments and consistencies, materials, resists and tricks, top mistakes, how to avoid them and more! Perfect for beginners and those looking for a refresher on techniques.
Recommended Materials: Watercolor (tubes are best) Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow, plus any favorite colors. Medium round or filbert brush with natural bristles, along with any favorites you may have. Watercolor paper, 6 pieces 5"x7" or larger, 140lb Canson, Arches or Strathmore brand. Graphite pencil, any hardness (HB suggested) (materials are not provided)
