During this class with Joe A Oakes learn how to paint a vibrant acrylic landscape with step by step instruction from Joe. Learn about composition, how to go from a photo to a painting, layering with acrylic, color mixing and choice, how to paint different textures and more. This is a hybrid class, Joe will be teaching online and in-person at the same time. Please note you will be painting in a style and color palette similar to the above image, but it will not be the exact image.
Materials Provided: Holbein Acrylic (cadmium yellow deep, cadmium orange, compose violet, luminous rose, amethyst, shadow green, titanium white, and occasionally paynes grey), Liquitex Acrylic (cobalt teal), 12x12 canvas, Bristle Brushes in Round #4, Filbert #6 and Flat #8, palette knife, rag or paper towel, water.
Please note this in person class is limited to 15 students in -person. This is a hybrid class and will be taught in-person and online simultaneously.
