Paint expressive florals from a reference in Buffy Kaufman's "Poured Florals" class. Learn how to "pour" watercolor. You will also explore negative painting and stenciling techniques during this workshop.
Materials Required: Watercolor (Hansa Yellow Light, Quin Sienna, Quin Red, Quin Magenta, Phthalo Turquoise, Phthalo Blue Red, Raw Sienna Light, Transparent Red Oxide, Brown Iron Oxide, Rose of Ultramarine, Prussian Green, French Ultramarine, Sepia, and Payne's Grey), 100% Cotton Watercolor paper 9" x 12" or larger, board to tape to, scratch paper or sketchbook for practice/swatching. Paints, plastic pipettes, eraser, toothbrushes, ramekins, and/or color mixing palettes. Fine Spray Mister ort Spray bottle. brushes (round, angle shader, wash, and liner), plastic tray, towel, or drying mat for pouring.
Please note this in person class is limited to 18 students.
