In this workshop, participants will learn how to paint with gouache focusing on landscapes. Gouache is a fantastic medium for painting quickly, drying to a nice matte sheen and water soluble. We will be overviewing composition, tone over color, shapes in a landscape and how to apply these concepts to your painting. Participants can follow along with instructor or bring in their own photo reference or mastercopy they wish to paint.
All Materials Provided:Winsor Newton Gouache paint provided by Winsor Newton (Permanent white, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, Cadmium red, Burnt Sienna), palette, 1/2" flat watercolor brush, #4 round brush, spray bottle, water cup, table easel, paper towels, illustration board, pencil
