During this class artist Debbie Zimmerman will go over the wide range of techniques you can use to create a decorative gourd. Covering both traditional styles and unconventional techniques Debbie will start with a lecture giving you an overview of different artistic styles. Then you will have the chance to test out a couple of techniques on gourd shards (small pieces of the gourd).
Materials Provided: Gourd shards, alcohol ink, acrylic paint, acrylic ink, frisket, permanent markers, brushes
