Interested in making your own handmade book? Create a Flatback Case-Bound Journal. Learn to sew and glue a text block, add end pages, make the cover, add a ribbon bookmark, add an elastic closure, and attach your sewn text block to your cover.
This is a 5 hour class and will break for a lunch mid-day.
Materials Provided: Rulers, cutting tools, folders, PVA glue, thread, needles, boards, ribbons, weights, clamps, elastic, paper.
Materials Required: Decorative paper at least 10"x14", which can be found at Art Supply Warehouse. Decorative Paper
Please note this in person class is limited to 10 students. Students must be over 18 to attend this class.
