Golden Acrylics Heavy Body paint in Phthalo Blue (Red Shade) (1260) is a transparent, organometallic color with an excellent lightfastness and permanency. The reddish variation on this very powerful tinting versatile blue. When used thickly it is dark and opaque, but phthalo makes beautiful transparent glazes.

Colors that are more reactive and do not allow as much pigment loading tend to have a glossier, more transparent, finish. Because Heavy Body colors contain no matting agents, the gloss of each color will be different.
