Fabriano "Artistico" Block is a bright white, 140lb (300 g/m) cold-pressed 9" x 12" (23cm x 30.5cm) block that has a medium grain with a less pronounced tooth than rough paper, and is an all-round paper for both detail and textured effects. This 20 sheet, gummed block keeps the paper stretched as it dries so that the finished piece can be removed free from any buckling.
Fabriano "Artistico" paper represents the culmination of eight centuries of Fabriano papermaking tradition. Artistico is a watercolor paper made with 100% cotton produced with mould made process, a special industrial process that reproduces the typical characteristics of hand-made paper, which is why it is also called "manomacchina".
