Whether it be mugs, ornaments or eggcups, the edding 4200 porcelain brush pens are ideal for decorating on porcelain with brilliant color results. The ink is also great for use on glazed ceramic and heat-resistant glass. An even color distribution is easy to achieve with its 1-4mm flexible brush nib and creamy application, making the edding 4200 porcelain brush pen great for beginners.
Once your work has dried you simply heat in the oven, your designs will then be dishwasher-safe. To apply multiple colors without mixing the shades, allow the first color to dry before applying the next.
Before decorating, clean the porcelain, glazed ceramics or heat-resistant glass thoroughly in the dishwasher, and then use a detergent or denatured alcohol to remove fingerprints or traces of grease. Allow to dry for 15 minutes before heating in the oven at 160 C for 25 minutes and then to cool in the oven. After heat fixing the design on porcelain it is dishwasher safe up to 50 C.
