The Da Vinci Grigio Synthetics has a mixture of different, slightly rough-textured fibers that mimicks the performance of mongoose hair in a rust-proof steel ferrule and bordeaux esagonal handles. The strong brush body of the Grigio provides high elasticity and a slightly rough surface for perfect color holding capacity. The Grigio Synthetics brush is for thicker oil and acrylic colors, as well as for all tempera and gouache colors.
