Crescent Select Mat Board is made of chemically treated alpha-cellulose (wood pulp) fibers. This alpha-cellulose based mat board is suitable for minimum levels of conservation framing and as an alternative to non-conservation matting. It is intended for the use of matting fine art prints, photography, limited editions and valuable documents. Crescent Select is a conservation quality matboard that is acid-free and lignin-free throughout the 4-ply surface, white core and backing.
