Charbonnel Etching Ground Ball Soft Black Opaque
Charbonnel Soft Black Opaque Etching Grounds Ball provides etching grounds in solid form. These soft grounds are non-drying. They deliver soft lines and textural effects. To achieve the pencil method, apply a light sheet of paper over the prepared plate. Next use a hard pencil to draw out your design. When the paper is removed it will take the pressured lines of ground with it, leaving the drawing on the plate.

Etching ground is best applied to warm plates with a leather dabber or a brayer. As this is soft ground, you can use the pencil method to make imprints on your plate.
