Made of premium FSC certified wood, the Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901's round body contains a smooth, permanent 3.8 mm wax lead with high pigment concentration for intense, bright colors. Luminance 6901 are a multipurpose tool that sharpen like a pencil for detailed work or use flat to cover large surfaces. Ideal complement for colored pencils, graphite pencils and Caran d'Ache wax oil pastels.
Luminance 6901 is the color pencil which combines the best possible lightfastness with the smoothness of a permanent lead made with wax. In accordance with the international ASTM D-6901 standard (which certifies the lightfastness of colours on a scale from LFI to LFV), Luminance 6901 offers to the demands of the most exacting creative professionals the guarantee that their works will stand the test of time for up to 100 years.
