Want to learn how to make refillable traveler's notebooks? It's a great way to customize how you organize, jot down notes, draw/sketch, etc. Learn how to make covers with closures, sew single signature booklet inserts, make pocket folder inserts, and add elastic to the covers. No experience needed!
This is a 6 hour class and will break for a lunch mid-day.
Materials Provided: Faux leather sheets, adhesive foam sheets, cardstock, thread, dry adhesive sheets, beads, charms, 2 lined single signatures, 2 grid single signatures, 2 blank single signatures, elastic, glue stick, jump rings
Tools Provided: Rules, L-square, mini scoreboard, craft knife, cutting mat, awl, punching cradle, scissors, box cutter, screw punch, cover template, needles, needle threaders, beeswax, metal thimbles, pencil, gel pen, rubber cement pick-up, eraser, bone folders, pliers, tweezers, corner rounder tool
All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own 12 mm beads with 2 mm holes, 8 mm beads with 1.5 - 2 mm holes, and/or charms if you want. Jump rings will be provided if you want to add charms. If you do not want plain color cardstock on the inside of your notebook cover or want decorative folder pockets, you are also welcome to bring decorative paper to cover the plain color cardstock if desired. Please note this in person class is limited to 10 students. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 16 to attend this class.
