Artist John Cody presents the second edition of this photographic reference text for illustrators, fine artists, and animators. The text contains over 530 black and white photographs, all newly shot using new models for this second edition. The photographs are grouped into one section of over 150 pages of a female model, and a second section of more than 150 pages of a male model, which present a variety of foreshortened views of the human figure. In the new edition, each of the two sections begins with non-foreshortened views as a standard of comparison, and each section now includes isolated views of foreshortened arms and hands.
