In this mix media abstract collage workshop with Rebecca Giesking play with materials, color and composition. Rebecca will guide you through the process to make your own collage paper using your choice of acrylic inks, paint, gouache, color pencil, paint markers and more. Create multiple compositions using the collage paper you made. This workshop focuses on color, texture, pattern, negative and positive space, and composition. Collage is a great method to try new materials, techniques, and get out of an artistic block. You will make multiple paper collages during this workshop.
All Materials Provided: Paper, acrylic paint, gouache, acrylic ink, color pencils, paint markers. You are welcome to bring your own collage materials to class.
Please note this in person class is limited to 18 students. Recommended for ages 14 and up. Students under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.
