Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour Burnt Sienna is a transparent rich brown pigment that is made by burning Raw Sienna. The pigment is mixed with linseed oil and is an extremely permanent color with excellent lightfastness. Named after Siena in Italy, where the pigment was sourced during the Renaissance, it is a transparent pigment with red-brown tones.
Made from high-quality pigments, Winton Oil Colours are durable, lightfast and permanent. With Winton's uniform consistency, it is exceptional for general use and ideal for working in large volume at the highest level. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes.
