Winsor & Newton Calligraphy Ink Indian Red is a permanent, earthy red with blue undertones. Indian Red was originally made of natural red iron oxides found in earth.

Winsor & Newton Calligraphy inks are made from high quality pigments in acrylic. All the inks have been formulated with carefully chosen pigments to ensure maximum brilliance of color and permanency. Single pigments have been used wherever possible to make clean color mixtures.

Please note that these inks are not water-proof, which means they can be reactivated with water and work best when used with a brush or a dip pen.
