During this class with Joe A Oakes learn how to paint a vibrant acrylic landscape with step by step instruction from Joe. Learn about composition, how to go from a photo to a painting, layering with acrylic, color mixing and choice, how to paint different textures and more. This is a hybrid class, Joe will be teaching online and in-person at the same time.
Materials Suggested: Holbein Acrylic (cadmium yellow, cadmium orange, compose violet, amethyst, luminous opera, shadow green, ultramarine blue, titanium white, and compose blue no 1), 12x12 canvas, Bristle Brushes in Round #4, Filbert #6 and Flat #8, palette knife, rag or paper towel, water.
Please note this online class will be taught simultaneously with the in person class. It is limited to 10 students. Attendees will receive the zoom link and any references the week of the class.
