Liquitex Professional Heavy Body paint in Cadmium Yellow Medium (161) is a mid-range opaque yellow single pigment color with excellent tinting properties. Cadmium was discovered in 1817 as a by-product of the zinc industry. All cadmium colors are identical except for the particle size of the pigment: the finer the size, the lighter the color.
