Grumbacher Academy Watercolor 7.5ml Payne's Gray
A transparent Blue-Black named for the English Watercolorist William Payne (1760-1820) who introduced it in his work in the late 18th Century. Its primary modern use is for toning down colors and for creating shadows.
Grumbacher Academy Watercolor are a collegiate line of watercolor paints at an affordable price. Only finely ground pigments are used in making this smooth, rich paint. Either straight from the tube or when mixed with white, strokes and washes are vibrant and luminescent.
