Daler-Rowney Oil Mediums
Products in Daler-Rowney Oil Mediums:
By its very nature, oil color is incompatible with water and dissolves only in turpentine, white spirit or low odor thinners. It is reduced with the addition of yet more oil, turpentine, or low odor thinners. The choice of oil mediums from the wide variety available depends on the surface and the finish required, and the working properties preferred during painting. Over the years, Daler-Rowney have worked closely with artists to develop a wide range of mediums in support of their color systems.
Artists' oil colors are made by dispersing pigments in an oil medium to create a smooth buttery slow-drying paint.
