Solvents and cleaners are great necessities to have as an artist to maintain your work environment and equipment. Solvents are designed to dissolve oil-based projects such as oil paint and oil-based ink that may have landed on carpet, fabric and wood. These won't completely eliminate the damage until a cleaner is applied. Cleaners vary by how they are chemically composed. Each one serves a different purpose.
